The Akashic records (Akasha is a Sanskrit word meaning "sky", "space" or "aether" [aether: clear upper
air]) is a term from Theosophy denoting a theoretical collection of mystical knowledge that is encoded in
the aether; i.e. on a non-physical plane of existence. The Records contain all accumulated knowledge,
including all human experience, held in the Universe. The Akashic Records are metaphorically described
as a library and are also likened to a universal computer or the 'Mind of God' or Universal Intelligence.
The records are supposed to be constantly updated. In Western Society the concept originated in the
Theosophical movements of the 19th Century, and remains prevalent in New Age discourse. To be sure;
ancient Nilotic, East and West Africans began these studies and beliefs during millennia long, long ago;
perfecting various techniques and sciences which the Greeks and other Occidentals have tried but failed
to accurately imitate or comprehend. Over the last several thousand years these Celestine Insights have
come to be masqueraded as religions and characterized as prophesies, oracles, secrets and mysteries even
black magic. Modern science has developed many terms for that which it can not explain: e.g. Wonders,
cause and effect, occult, paranormal, eastern wisdom, psychic phenomenon, meditation, yoga,
transcendentalism, the force and many countless other derivations, deviations and departures in blatant
desperate attempts to discolor; hide, confuse, deny, distort, manipulate or control and block access to:
ancient sciences both esoteric and exoteric… Without a doubt this subject area has fascinated millions of
initiates, scientists, scholars and enthusiasts: charlatans, hypocrites, followers, infidels and treasure
hunters, to be sure countless others have devoted [dedicated] their entire lives to the discovery,

The year 11,542 B.C seems to have been important in the annals of ancient astronomy; and much light was
focused on this point by Professor Julius Oppert in a paper read to the scientific meeting in Brussels, Belgium
in 1868.
Who exactly are the Assyrians, Chaldeans, Phoenicians; what is their chronology and geography? There are
other astonishing coincidences; the chronology of the ancient Egyptians and Assyrians is the same as that of
the Olmec of South-central Mexico, ancient Mayas in Central America and Incas of South America. Can we
assume that they all knew about each other? Archaeological excavations are beginning to suggest theoretical
grounds on the basis of the factual evidence not only for a “Pre-Columbian;” African American Connection,
but a completely revolutionary rethinking (revisualization) of World History and the concept of Discovery.
But even if we make the assumption now; today; it will not explain why these ancient cultures all selected the
same date from which to begin their count of time (Calendars) or the similarities of deities and the pyramid
design or various other stone works, monuments and temples across the globe. Our only other conjecture is
that the concurrence of the calendar of three different peoples is due to some staggering event known to them,
an event that to them could only have seemed to mark the end (or beginning) of the world. That is probably
why it was retained in the memory of these peoples for thousands of years. . . . The Egyptians and Assyrians
give the exact date: 11,542 B.C, this is approximately the date the chronology of the Mayas also begins [On
the Track of Discovery, pp. 174—76].
